When life hits you hard, you are confronted with death, crisis and overwhelming grief, you feel like your face is pushed into dirt, unable to breathe – what now? How do you ever get back up?
Maybe you know those dark nights of the soul or you have a friend or family member who has gone through or is going through the darkest of times. Maybe you feel alone and abandoned.
Our society doesn’t exactly support us in those dark moments. We want to speak up for everyone who experiences this. For us all, really. We are conditioned to suck it up and keep going. Keep achieving. And please… don’t cry.
But sometimes, this simply isn’t possible anymore. You just can’t. And decide, from now on, you won’t tolerate anymore bullshit. But, how do you get back up? How can you start breathing again? How do you live a conscious life without avoiding the uncomfortable stuff? Without bypassing it with some lame general statement as “everything happens for a reason”? How do you ever gain trust in life again? And what happens to your worldview, your belief system and your understanding of God, the Universe? Where does fucking Karma enter the stage?
Those are the questions that keep us up at night. They ultimately drive us on our search for truth. This is no spiritual “wishy washy”-show, somewhere up in another sphere, but a real, honest and down to earth talk amongst friends. We have no answers and naturally don’t expect them in return. OK maybe we do. A little. But we all know; sometimes there are none, and that’s the hardest part of all. To simply bear that state, where everything is left hanging in the air. Your life deconstructed and all over the place. What now? That’s what we try, to get a grip of ourselves, here on our show When SHIT Hits the Fan.
